On June 28, 2017, Dropbox will be turning off their API V1, and moving to Dropbox API V2. This means that if you have profiles using the old Dropbox API then they will no longer be able to connect to Dropbox on/after 28 June 2017.
SyncBackPro V7 users can either upgrade to SyncBackPro V8 via our Upgrade Checker page, or they can update to the latest SyncBackPro V7.7.0.0. After updating, or upgrading, you will need to convert your Dropbox profiles.
SyncBackPro V8 users need to convert any Dropbox profiles they imported from V7 or earlier. New Dropbox profiles created in V8 are not affected. There is a Knowledge Base article explaining the process.
Backblaze are looking for SyncBackPro V8 users who are using Backblaze B2. They are interested in conducting a case study to show the benefits of using SyncBackPro with Backblaze B2. If you are interested, please contact us.
