Configuring SyncBack Touch to backup files over the Internet
Do you need to backup files from a computer or device located on an offsite location, for example, a PC or Mac in an office location or a laptop while travelling overseas? You can easily backup these devices if you use SyncBack Touch. All you need to do is to perform some configuration steps and this article (written by Swapna, from 2BrightSparks) will show you how to connect to your devices over the Internet and keep all your data backed up seamlessly.
Using SyncBack Touch to protect yourself from Ransomware
Ransomware has been on the rise for the past few years, taking over countless computers by encrypting files and demanding payment from the owner to unlock the restriction. As a result, time and money has been lost when desperate users are forced to pay to get their data back.
Kostas, from 2BrightSparks, has written an article on how to protect your data from ransomware by storing them on a remote computer using SyncBack Touch, where the ransomware can’t gain access.
New translations in the latest SyncBack
We are pleased to announce that two new languages, Romanian and Korean, are now available in the latest SyncBackPro/SE/Free version. These new languages are contributions from 2 SyncBack fans, which you can now access from the Preferences > Language menu.
