SyncBack Touch - Backup To and From Windows, macOS, and Android!

We're excited to announce the launch of SyncBack Touch, a cross-platform file server that allows SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE to backup, restore or sync with the files on any device that has SyncBack Touch installed!

SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE come with 2 FREE SyncBack Touch Licenses!

Think of SyncBack Touch as a small program that sits on your PC/Apple/laptop/tablet/
mobile phone that allows SyncBackPro or SE to connect to it to backup or synchronize the information on that device. It is not complex to use and has simple networking requirements. Plus, all communication between SyncBackPro/SE and SyncBack Touch is encrypted so security is taken care of.

SyncBack Touch can be installed on three different platforms: Windows, macOS, and Android. When installed on a computer running Windows it can copy open/locked files or access files without access rights problems. For more technical users, this is something that FTP servers cannot do. On top of that, it can backup all drives using just one profile as SyncBack Touch has a virtual file-system.

SyncBackPro/SE can find SyncBack Touch devices on your local network so you do not even need to know the hostname or IP address of the device running SyncBack Touch (another advantage compared to FTP). For example, you could have SyncBackPro/SE backup all your photos as soon as your SyncBack Touch mobile device connects to your local Wi-Fi or network.

Importantly, SyncBack Touch provides SyncBackPro/SE with the exact kind of information it needs in order to perform efficiently. There are no compatibility issues like you will often run into with FTP for example. SyncBack Touch has been made specifically to be used with SyncBackPro/SE which guarantees that information will be provided as if SyncBackPro/SE itself was running on the target device.

Business Users enjoy the advantages of more efficient backup procedures as SyncBack Touch requires less administrative effort to manage. Working with SyncBackPro/SE, SyncBack Touch eases the maintenance burden:

•	In the Windows version, users have nothing to configure or corrupt. There is no user interface and it’s completely transparent to the user. There’s no need to worry about Windows passwords changing as it uses the system account.
•	No need to worry about scheduling as it's all done centrally instead of on the client computer.
•	No need to worry about setting usernames and passwords as it can be controlled centrally using SBMS (SyncBack Management System).
