Group Policies

If using SBMS is not practical or possible, an alternative is using Windows Group Policies. Note that this is only supported with SyncBackPro. If SBMS and a group policy are used then the group policy setting overrides the SBMS setting and current user settings override the local machines.

The SyncBackPro installation includes the ADMX and ADML files (see the ADMX sub-directory where SyncBackPro is installed).

In the current version, only security settings are defined in the group policy, not defaults. If you have suggestions for defaults, or security settings, please contact us.
