DeleteOnClick
DeleteOnClick is a very simple program that lets you securely delete files.
DeleteOnClick is implemented as a Windows Shell Extension and not a stand alone program. See the Using DeleteOnClick section for details. |
Securely erasing files, and free disk space, on Solid State Drives (SSD's) is not possible due to the way SSD drives work internally. If you wish to securely wipe an entire SSD it is recommended that you go to your drive manufacturers web site to download a secure erase utility for your drive. |
A securely deleted file cannot be recovered or undeleted
Securely deleted files are not moved to the recycle bin. For this reason the program should be used with care.
