In this tutorial we show how to use queues to run profiles in SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE. Queues are not available in SyncBackFree.
The help file explains queues in detail, but briefly, by using a queue you can run profiles serially, i.e. one after another. They are run in the order they are added to the queue.
Think of queues like an ad-hoc group profile. For example, you may want to run several long running profiles in a specific order without being present at the computer.
First, let's add Profile 1 to the queue. Right-click on the profile. As we have nothing in the queue it will start immediately. Let's run it unattended.
While it's running, let's add Profile 2 to the queue. Once Profile 1 has finished it will be started. The icon to the left of the profile name shows it is in the queue.
Now we add Example Group to the queue. This means Profile 3 and Profile 4 will also be run as they are part of the group.
Actually, let's remove Example Group from the queue. This can be done quickly and easily by clicking the group icon next to the profile you want to remove from the queue.
You can also remove all profiles from the queue by right-clicking and selecting Queue -> Clear queue from the pop-up menu.
