In this example we are going to schedule a profile to run every hour, even if we are not logged into Windows.
First, select the profile you want to schedule by clicking on it in the main window.
Next, click on the Schedule button.
The profile has no schedule and we want to create a new one. Click the Yes button.
You may receive this prompt. If you do not have a Windows login password then you must click Yes. Otherwise, click No.
IMPORTANT: You must enter your Windows login password. It cannot be a pin number, fingerprint, face, etc. Windows requires your login password.
Enter your Windows login password and then click OK
By default, it will use tomorrows date at 9am, recurring every day. You can change it to todays date and a different time.
Next, click on the Settings tab
If you only want the profile to run when you are logged in then enable the option Run only when user is logged on
We want the profile to run every hour, so click the checkbox Run this profile every
We need to change the days value to zero
Next, we need to change the hours value to 1. If you wanted the profile to run every 6 hours, for example, then you could set it to 6.
As the schedule is set to start every day we need to change the repeating duration to 0 days and 23 hours. This means it will repeat every hour for 23 hours. The schedule restarts every day.
You can scroll down to see the other settings, but in this example we do not need to change the default values.
Click OK to set the schedule.
A summary of the schedule appears. Click OK to continue.
The schedule is now set. It will start on the date and time you set (so that may be tomorrow morning). If you set it to run even if you are not logged into Windows then you can now exit SyncBack and logout of Windows and it will still run.
