All editions of SyncBack now come with an installer that can be used by a standard Windows user. You no longer need to be an Administrator to install SyncBack. It's now also possible to create a Windows shortcut that runs SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE elevated without being prompted.
A Scheduler Monitor Service constantly monitors your schedules and informs you if the Windows Task Scheduler has failed to start any of your SyncBack schedules, e.g. due to a password change.
SyncBackPro can download files directly from a web-site. A single profile can download multiple files from multiple web-sites. SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro can also download files from HTTP when using FTP. When using a CDN, e.g. Cloudflare, it can be considerably faster to retrieve a file from the web server instead of the FTP server.
A single profile can now access all your storage volumes (drives) even if they do not have a drive letter. SyncBack supports multiple methods for copying files and now with V11 you can compare the performance of each copying method to see which is the best for you.
Groups have been a part of SyncBack since the earliest versions. With V11 you can now create Group Queues which have the benefit of using fewer resources, can contain the same profile multiple times and allow you to choose how a profile is run, e.g. it can be an Integrity Check.
SyncBackPro can now retrieve usernames, passwords and SFTP keys from a remote Secrets Manager. AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud Secret Manager, HashiCorp Vault and the Windows Credential Manager (local) are supported.
Shared Settings are now much easier to create and manage. The new Shared Settings manager now lets you create and modify Shared Settings independently from profiles.
There are numerous other improvements, e.g. file hard links can be copied and remapped, Junction Points and Symbolic Links can be copied and remapped, scripts can be debugged with an integrated debugger, the Restore Wizard can create a System Restore Point before doing a restore, main menus are now used instead of button panels, Cloudflare R2 is supported, support for Windows Group Policies has been introduced, and so much more.
