There is a wealth of information available to help you make the most of SyncBackFree:

• The help file that is installed with SyncBack includes extensive and detailed information. This should always be your first port of call when looking for help. When using the software simply press F1 (or click the Help button) for instant context sensitive help. It is also available online.


• We have an online knowledge base that is constantly being updated and improved.


• Sign-up to our Data Saving Tips Mailing List. Each week, for 5 weeks, you'll receive an email introducing one useful feature of SyncBackFree. At the end of the series you'll have a reasonable understanding of how to best use SyncBackFree. The final email will also include discount coupons for SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro.


• To learn more about the technology used by SyncBack we have an ever increasing list of articles.


• Sometimes it is easier to show something than to describe it, which is why we have a tutorials section.


• Technical Support is not available with SyncBackFree (for that you need to purchase SyncBackSE or SyncBackPro). However, there is an active online forum where people can publicly ask questions and search for answers.

First Steps

The help file has a Quick Start section which we recommend you read first. We also have an online article which explains how to create your first backup profile (it refers to SyncBackPro but the steps also apply to SyncBackFree).
